missed them

yesterday i had the first alone day that have had in a very long time. no noah, no chloe, no husband. just me and you know what? it wasn’t that great. the highlight of the day was when emily stopped by and brent showed up with lunch. i watched a movie from start to finish and even knew what it was about. there was no demanding, no yelling, no tantrums. but also no hugs, no crazy stories, no kisses.
i went for a long walk around town with my camera-something i used to do all the time by myself. but i missed the wonder and magic of seeing things through noah and chloe. i missed explaining things.
overall, i felt lonely and am happy to have them bugging and pesting already this morning.
