chloe’s 2!

chloe is 2 years old today. i can’t see how that could be possible because she was clearly just born.
i could not be happier that i scrapped the idea of killing myself over a big party and took them to chuck e. cheese instead. we picked up her dora cake and that was pretty much the extent of our involvement.
we invited the 3 “kids” she loves. one of which is 13. the kids -with the exception of the 13 year old- LOVED it. it was way more fun if you had a little kid to follow around and play with. but since there was a total of 4 little kids, there were parents and grandparents that looked like they would rather be anywhere else doing anything else.
the place was loud. it was annoying and disorganized. i had a great time. we are going back for noah’s birthday. the days of the huge parties may have come to an end.
