I breastfed my son for a year. Seven months later I began nursing my daughter and continued for almost two years. It wasn’t easy. It was a real commitment and sometimes a real struggle too.
I wasn’t the type to whip out my boob in public. I wish I had been. But unfortunately I ended up in the car, in someone’s bedroom, and very sadly…a bathroom or two. Even around my closest friends and family I hid behind blankets and pillows.

Milk Bands are a uniquely designed nursing bracelet that enables the mother to quickly and conveniently identify which breast she last used to feed her baby by simply turning the bracelet inside-out. You could even keep track in the dark because the word “left” is indented and the word “right” is raised. I remember the nurse at the hospital telling me to use a safety pin on my bra to mark which side the baby nursed from last. This bracelet is so much better. It has time measuring sliders that can be used for multiple purposes such as tracking how long your baby fed or what time.
The cover is made of a very lightweight cotton material. No hot and sweaty babies under these covers. The print suits my taste perfectly and there are several to choose from. It is generously sized and comfortable. The top of the cover contains a rigid material that holds it away from your body to enable eye contact with your little one without giving anyone else a peek. There is an easily adjustable tapered strap that goes around your neck to hold it in place…you won’t have to worry that your baby is going to yank it away.
