Every April and September I am faced with the sometimes daunting tasks involved with planning a child’s birthday party. If you are like me, you want your child’s birthday to be really special. This year as I tearfully but gratefully begin to plan Noah’s 5th birthday (he’s nearly 5?!?!) I’ve been looking at the beautiful and stylish birthday invitations from Shutterfly.
There are so many cute styles to choose from that I’m having a hard time making a decision. He wants a robot party and there are several options to fit his theme and my personal taste. The invitations I’m trying out are flat 5×7 stationary cards printed on premium eco-friendly cardstock. They are available in photo and text only options and it seems a very simple process to customize the invitation of my choice. I always shoot a portrait of Noah and Chloe for their birthdays to commemorate another wonder-filled year of life and growth so I do plan to include a photo. Often times these are the only pictures I manage to actually get printed on a regular basis.
I have ordered prints from Shutterfly in the past and have been pleased with their free unlimited picture storage and quick turnaround. I expect nothing less from them than competative pricing, professional quality and great service.
And it’s never too early to start picking out our Christmas card and I’ve already been browsing Shutterfly’s selection of photo Christmas cards.
Want to try some free flat 5×7 stationary cards too? One Hush Mama reader will get 20 cards of their own (10 to keep and 10 to give away!).

I would use these as thank you cards; I like the pink poppies design.
I would use them for my daughter’s birth announcements.
